Join GUEST Week 2025 – Erasmus Staff Training in Graz
As part of the Utrecht Network, the University of Graz warmly invites colleagues from partner institutions to participate in the upcoming GUEST Week – the Graz Erasmus Staff Training Week – taking place from 24 to 28 November 2025 in Graz, Austria.
GUEST Week offers a unique opportunity for professional exchange and collaboration across institutions. Through a rich program of interactive sessions, practical workshops, and informal networking moments, participants can explore current challenges, share good practices, and develop new ideas for international and administrative cooperation.
Several thematic tracks will be available, each hosted by a different unit of the University of Graz:
- Office of International Relations
- Department of Academic Services and the Competence Centre for University Teaching
- Human Resources Department
- Performance and Quality Management
- Research Management Office
- treffpunkt sprachen – Centre for Language, Plurilingualism and Didactics
- University Library
The GUEST Week Program is designed to encourage meaningful exchange and peer learning. Participants are also invited to present their own good practice examples within the scope of their chosen track.
A particular focus will be the IRO track, dedicated to the internationalization of higher education. This year’s sessions will address current developments in Erasmus+, with topics such as the future of the programme, inclusion strategies, Blended Intensive Programmes, and KA171 mobility.
At a glance:
- Monday, 24 November: Opening session, introduction to the University of Graz, campus and library tour, and optional welcome dinner
- Tuesday to Thursday, 25–27 November: Thematic track sessions and optional cultural program
- Friday, 28 November: Final session for KA171-funded participants
How to apply:
Please submit your application by 1 September 2025 using this online form. Confirmation will follow by mid-September. Please note that participation is limited.
Funding and practicalities:
Participants are expected to cover their own travel, accommodation, and most meals. We recommend applying for Erasmus+ STT funding through your home institution. A list of hotel recommendations will be shared upon acceptance.
Please note: Applicants from Utrecht Network member institutions will be given priority consideration.
