In consideration of the emergency situation and the travel difficulties related to the spread of the Coronavirus, the SC has decided to CANCEL the workshop.
A new Erasmus programme will soon be launched, and it aims to become completely digital within the project period (2021-2027).
This includes the gradual digitalization of IIA agreements, nominations, learning agreements etc.
At the same time, there are several initiatives supported by the EC that works on the digitalisation of the exchange process at the universities, such as Erasmus Without Paper (EWP) and Online Learning Agreement (OLA).
In this workshop, held on 22-23 April 2020 and hosted by Bogazici University in Istanbul, we will give you an overview of the new Erasmus Programme 2021-2027, how the planned digitalisation will be implemented and what this will mean for the universities and HEIs across Europe (European Commision, tbc).
Paul Leys from Ghent University, who plays an important role in the Erasmus Without Paper project, will present his point of view as a member of the project, but also hand-on experience as an international officer at a leading university in digitalization.
Kristin Torp Skogedal (UiB) will give the users’ perspective in decision-making and adaptation of existing procedures and student information systems proceeding the implementation of OLA (and soon implementation of EWP). She will share their experience with the implementation of OLA, the most used tool in the EWP scope so far.
Finally, we hope to give you a live demonstration of transfer of data between two Utrecht Network universities.
We will give you examples and advice on how to get started, as well as practical demonstrations during the workshop.
