Virtual Exchange and Blended Mobility for Sustainability
Utrecht Network is pleased to invite teachers from member universities to participate in the training course Virtual Exchange and Blended Mobility for Sustainability: A Blended Mobility course for cross-disciplinary collaboration in the Utrecht Network.
The course is aimed at academic staff interested in addressing global sustainability challenges through interdisciplinary teaching and in offering students real-time international learning experiences.
The course will be delivered in a blended format, combining three online sessions with two days of face-to-face training in Brussels, UIB Brussels Office, Rue Guimard 9, 1000. Utrecht Network will cover travel and accommodation costs for one participant per member university.
- Travel will be calculated according to Erasmus+ staff mobility travel grants (the distance banner);
- For the 2 nights in Brussels a maximum of 200 € per night applies;
- The request for reimbursement has to be issued by the institution of the participant.
Please note: in case there is more than 1 application from an institution, the Utrecht Network representative of this university decides on the nominee and/or funding possibilities for more than one participant from his/her institution in the training.
Participants will gain practical experience in virtual exchange methodologies and blended mobility design, with a strong focus on cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Detailed information on the course structure, content and learning outcomes is available in the programme document provided below.
Applications are open to teachers from Utrecht Network universities, with a registration deadline of 23 March 2026. Selected candidates will be informed by 5 April 2026, and a Utrecht Network Certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the course.
