Overview

International Utrecht Network Summer Schools are, in principle, a joint activity of Utrecht Network members. They are organized by a group of Utrecht Network members and taught by staff from various institutions.

Students from Utrecht Network universities and from universities within the partner consortia overseas can participate in these summer schools as well as others.

Students applying to the Summer School may apply for a grant of €250 to support their participation.

The grant is awarded as a reduction of the summer school participation fee.

Grant Amount: €250 per student

Eligibility

To be considered for a grant, applicants must:

  • Be enrolled at a member institution of the network.
  • Apply and be accepted to the Summer School

Important

Students who are eligible for Erasmus+ Staff Training funding cannot receive this grant, even if their home institution does not allocate Erasmus funding to them.

Selection Criteria

Grant recipients are selected by the Summer School academic committee based on the requirements specified in the call for applications.

All applicants are evaluated according to these criteria and placed on a ranking list if needed.

Allocation of Grants

Grants are allocated according to the ranking of applicants:

  • The highest-ranked applicant from each member institution will receive a grant.
  • If no students apply from a particular member institution, the grant may be awarded to other applicants based on their ranking.

How the Grant Is Awarded

The grant is not paid directly to students. Instead, the summer school participation fee will be reduced by €250 for selected students.

How to Apply
  1. Submit your application to the Summer School
  2. Applications will be evaluated by the academic committee

Successful applicants will be notified together with the admission results.
