The Utrecht Network has already celebrated its 30th anniversary and its successful development path proves that the Network has always been working towards its lofty objective to support and reinforce the internationalization activities at member institutions.
The strength of the Network is in its committed member institutions, active Task Forces and their generated activities.
We are glad that member institutions come up with new interesting initiatives and proposals on the organisation of different events.
We have approved a new Strategic Plan and, this April just passed, the Annual General Meeting in Bratislava has accepted the suggestions from the rectors of the member institutions for the future.
The Network continues to build bridges between different continents: the successful collaboration with AEN and MAUI has given a new impulse to start cooperation with the Brazilian Network REARI-RJ and look for partners in other regions. It proves the Network’s global outlook.
Being fully committed to the recent discussions on the new EC initiatives, our Network has been approached by the EC to reflect on the future of the Erasmus+ programme as well as new initiative “European Universities”. It shows our stable visibility on the European HE arena.
The Secretariat has moved to Bologna – Alma Mater Studiorum. There are still some formalities to accomplish, but we are glad that Silvia Mastrapasqua, the executive Secretary, has already caught the spirit of the Network.
